Last June, the EC launched a Draft Mandate addressing CEN, CENELEC AND ETSI to develop standardisation regarding Space Industry (Phase 3). During the previous phases, Integral SatCom Initiative, monitored and closely participated on the activities of Dossier 4 [Interoperability and Integration of Mobile Satellite Systems (MMS) and Fixed Satellite Systems (FSS) with Terrestrial Systems in particular Next Generation Networks (NGN), and with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) in particular Galileo] and Dossier 9 [Disaster Management]. ISI Regulatory and Standardisation WG is pleased to inform ISI Community that the dossier on Disaster Management has been retained as one of the three high priorities by the EC for phase 3.  Download the EC Draft Mandate from document section of the ISI Regulatory and Standardization WG.
